About Us
My name is Marcial Mendez, and I live with my lovely
wife Laura in the great state of Alabama. I have been
interested in snakes since early childhood, and from
a very young age I was obessed with green tree pythons!
Thanks to my very understanding and encouraging parents,
I was lucky enough to keep a wide variety of snakes
while growing up.
Soon after finishing college in 1998,
I purchased my first chondro. Shortly thereafter,
I got another. And another. And, well, you get the
idea. Years later, I have built an initial group of
10 animals into a good size collection. I produce
several clutches a year from some of the best bloodlines
out there.
Along with chondros, I keep a few
pairs of poison dart frogs. It's tough to beat the
beauty of a well established terrarium!
Aside from herps, my other interests
include live rock & roll, Auburn Football, and
I am a avid car freak.
